Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Salary: £36,500 to £39,000 per annum + Overtime available
Location: Redditch
Hours: Rotating Day Shifts
Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 5pm
Week 2: Tuesday to Friday, 6am to 5pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team where you’ll be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of critical plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:
Repairing and maintaining plant and machinery: Ensuring all equipment is running efficiently and minimizing downtime.
Reactive and preventative maintenance: Responding quickly to breakdowns and identifying areas for continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
Spare parts management: Identifying and specifying required spare parts for machines and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.
Machinery Working on: Gas Furnaces, CNC machines, Hydraulic and mechanical presses, ovens and furnaces, grinding machines, EMD, presses.
PLC Fault Finding: Siemens
Required Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a relevant maintenance discipline (mechanical, electrical, and Hydraulics).
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of factory operations.
Experience working with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve faults across various technologies.
Ability to adapt and work across multiple machines
