Electrical Design Engineer

Due to continued growth, a well-established engineering organisation are looking to hire an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The primary function of the role is to develop electrical solutions for robot-based, electromechanical systems for use in factory and process automation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing electrical solutions for robot-based, electromechanical systems for use in factory and process automation.
• Working and collaboratively and cross-functionally to identify and overcome engineering challenges.
• Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Generating and managing technical documentation in line with the product development processes.

To be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven experience in designing electrical schematics using a top-end electrical CAD package (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical). In addition, it would be advantageous to hold a degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or a similar field.
