Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire Salary: up to £37 000 based on qualifications and experience Shift: Monday to Friday shifts, with overtime available after 40 hours Start Date: Immediately Type: Permanent Job We are hiring for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to assist in the build, repair, and maintenance of industrial cutting machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in the UK specialising in the service, repair, and reconditioning of cutting machinery and systems. You will be part of a dedicated team, working on both new machinery and reconditioning older equipment. Duties of an Multi Skilled Engineer You will be working as part of a highly skilled team and will be responsible for: Carrying out fault finding and repairs on reconditioned machinery Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings Performing tasks such as bench fitting, machining, and fabrication Working on both hydraulic and mechanical equipment Assisting with the build of cutting machinery Occasionally working in the field as well as in the factory Skills and Experience of an Multi Skilled Engineer You will need the following skills and experience: At least, 2 years’ experience in a relevant field, ideally with a maintenance background Experience working with industrial equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail It would be beneficial to the role if you also had: Electrical bias with experience in hydraulic and mechanical systems Knowledge of modern safety control systems Experience with heavy lifting equipment (training will be provided) About the Client Our client is a leading company in the repair, service, and maintenance of cutting machinery and systems, offering excellent career opportunities for skilled engineers.
