CNC Waterjet Operator

Job Title: CNC Waterjet Operator Working Model / Location: On-Site / Bilston, Wolverhampton Salary + Benefits: £29,120 (£14 p/h) - Overtime Available Sector: Metal / Engineering  Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC waterjet cutting machines to cut stainless steel plates and profiles according to blueprints and design specifications. Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Program and set up waterjet machines, including adjusting settings to achieve desired cutting parameters. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet company and customer standards. Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. About You: Experience as a Waterjet Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment focused on stainless steel or metal products. Proficiency in operating CNC-controlled waterjet cutting machines. Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
