Role Responsibilities: * Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and machinery. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime. * Implement preventative maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory. Experience Required: * NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field * Apprentice Trained * Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting. * Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
