NET DeveloperNewcastle Upon Tyne Permanent Positon £45,000 £50,000Careers plus has partnered with a Newcastle based tech company who are seeking a talented .NET Developer to join our team and help us build, maintain, and enhance software applications.As a Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design and develop applications, and ensure their smooth deployment and operation.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and other relevant technologies.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.Required Qualifications:Proven experience as a .NET Developer or similar role.Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and Web API.Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.Experience with version control systems (e.G., Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.This is a hybrid position working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
