Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician

MCS Group are proud to be working with one of the most well-known food manufacturers in Northern Ireland to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join their award-winning team based in Tandragee. You will; Demonstrate a clear and logical approach to fault finding in modern PLC-controlled machinery. Abide by safety rules and ensure hygiene standards are maintained within the department. Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule Provide support for unplanned maintenance such as breakdowns Essential Requirements; Time served - mechanical or electrical Understanding of an FMCG supply chain Educated to ONC or equivalent Good working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems (must be multi-skilled) Strong knowledge of electronic control devices Strong electrical discipline within the process environment You will be required to work as part of a small team of shift engineers following a rotating shift pattern. The shifts are 7 days and 7 nights of 11.5 hours worked over a 28-day period.
