What’s on offer. * Close support network of experienced Engineers and Managers * Comprehensive workshop and onsite training where you will shadow one of their many long serving Engineers. * The opportunity to develop your skills and experience and move into a mobile role. * To join a business with a nurturing and people development focus As Workshop Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair service to customer fleet vehicles within the workshop in Leighton Buzzard. You are likely to be qualified in mechanical engineering, be comfortable using mechanical hand tools and have some experience of working on the assembly, repair, service or maintenance of mechanical based equipment. Previous experience of working on heavy vehicle plant, machinery, forklift trucks, farm machinery, tractors, road sweepers, powered access or marine plant would be of distinct interest, though not essential. An understanding of hydraulics and fault-finding electrics desirable as training can be provided.
