Ocho are thrilled to be working on a fully remote Senior DevOps Engineer role with a global FinTech! This role is perfect for a player-coach who loves guiding and mentoring teams in DevOps. Key Responsibilities: Lead & Mentor: Establish, scale, and guide your team. CI/CD Expertise: Provide tools and expertise to development teams. Pipeline Creation: Build reusable CI/CD pipeline models with quality gates and security. Automation & Compliance: Drive process automation, integrating compliance and quality gates. Best Practices: Lead technical discussions on DevOps best practices. Automation Promotion: Promote fully automated build and release processes. DevOps Adoption: Guide program teams in adopting DevOps principles and toolchains. Cloud Deployments: Support large-scale production deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. System Management: Oversee build, release, and configuration management of production systems. Troubleshooting: Solve platform and application issues. Tech Updates: Stay updated on cloud and software advancements. Architecture Guidance: Provide technical guidance for architecture and process improvements. Tech Evaluation: Evaluate new technology options and vendor products. System Security: Ensure system security with top-tier cloud security solutions. Documentation: Maintain documentation for operational processes and configurations. Qualifications: 6+ years experience in DevOps and Cloud computing Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Strong expertise in cloud services (AWS preferred). Strong experience with Terraform to create infrastructure as code. Strong experience with Ansible to create configuration as code. Strong experience in automation and one of scripting language such as Python, Javascript or similar. Strong experience with Docker (Docker, Docker Compose etc) for container management. Excellent problem-solving skills. In-depth understanding of system security best practices. Proven ability to drive process automation and improvement.
