Cannock £50,000 - £60,000 per year + Paid OT + Pension + Package The Company As a leading designer, manufacturer and commissioning specialist, this well established and growing manufacturing Automation solutions provider is now expanding to meet the demand within their global customer market. They have a world class team, class leading next generation automation solutions and are set to grow exponentially over the coming three to five years. The Role You will be responsible for completing the setup and installation of robots from a single robot, to multiple robot cells. The Robot Programmer will program robot paths, set up program structure and implement offline programming. You will also configure the robot input and output, weld interface and program call, as well as working on robot drawings and configurations. The robot programmer will read and understand electrical blue prints, schematics and specifications, as well as ordering materials for robots. You will test and validate robot programs to ensure functionality and performance, as well as develop robot programs using programming languages. The Person You will be qualified to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent in manufacturing, electrical or mechatronics engineering. With a minimum of 3 years hands on experience in programming robots, specifically hands on experience programming robots ABB, Kuka, Fanuc. And a good understanding of PLC functionality. The robot programmer will have strong understanding of robot program basic flow and knowledge of ISO218-1 and ISO218-2. This candidate will also have experience in robotic spot welding, mig welding and material handling.
