Our client is recruiting for a dynamic Quality Engineer to act as a key player in their quality operations.


You’ll provide quality assurance support to customers, suppliers, partners and internal manufacturing cells and participate in continuous improvement activities in targeted areas.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as the primary interface for customers, leading complaint resolution and executing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support manufacturing teams by collecting and analysing quality data, ensuring compliance with our EQMS policies and quality best practices.
  • Tackle technical and business process issues using structured problem-solving methods like 8D and Six Sigma.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems across the operation, particularly in new product launches.
  • Lead internal audits of Quality Systems and prepare part approval documentation to meet customer requirements for new or modified products.
  • Analyse organizational quality metrics and provide actionable recommendations to address any performance gaps.
  • Leverage statistical data and product/process performance to implement improvements in targeted areas.
  • Design and deliver quality training programs, helping the team stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.
  • Support product development and launches by evaluating customer expectations, overseeing manufacturing tests, and conducting reliability analyses.
  • Develop and evaluate process capabilities, control plans, and audits to enhance product quality.
  • Investigate and eliminate quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of gauges, measurement tools, and test equipment.


Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of problem-solving methods, including Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and statistical tools.
  • Proficient in lean manufacturing techniques like pFMEA, Control Plans, and Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and certification processes (ISO9001, AS9100, EASA Part 21).
  • Skilled in conducting system and process audits to ensure quality compliance.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts to reduce process/product variability.
  • Thorough knowledge of product testing, end-user specifications, and material properties.
