Senior Tendering Engineer

Senior Tendering Engineer Location - Midlands Our Nuclear client is seeking a Senior Tendering Engineer to join the business, who will support the Bids and Tenders team from an engineering perspective. This role will support new and existing clients to secure business, agree scopes of work, prepare costing and engage with the wider business. You will be working with market managers, the tendering team, as well as operations and engineering teams. Roles & Responsibilities: Driving the business through sales and tendering. Visiting potential clients to present offering, agreeing client requirements, product value propositions and product positioning and tendering of defined scope. Achieving business targets through regular review of sales and tendering activities and implementation of improvement/focus plans as needed. Understanding Customer Service principles and their effect on the business. To ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures and Accountancy Policies and approval procedures  Ideal Background:  A Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or similar. 2 years of experience in Sales and/or tendering The client does require someone from an Engineering background - such as Power, Nuclear, Defence or wider Engineering functions A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication and customer-relationship-building skills.
