Contract Manager (Electrical)

Electrical Contracts Manager – £52k (Non-Negotiable) We are looking for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to lead and manage a large housing association contract in Sussex (5+5 years), overseeing installation work by engineers and apprentices while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Details: * Salary: £52,000 * Hours: 45 per week * Van: Sign-written (Diesel or Electric) * Qualifications: AM2, 18th Edition, NICEIC QS experience required * Office based – East Sussex Key Responsibilities: Project & Client Management: * Manage day-to-day project operations, including reactive maintenance, EICRs, voids, and subcontracting for CCTV/door access. * Act as the main point of contact for commercial clients, local authorities, and new business opportunities. * Prepare budgets, quotes, and work schedules. Attend client meetings and provide regular updates. Team Management: * Lead, mentor, and supervise engineers and site supervisors. * Conduct team meetings, toolbox talks, and staff appraisals. * Provide direct management to assigned engineers. Compliance & Safety: * Ensure all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. * Support engineers with technical queries and ensure regulatory compliance. * Oversee Health & Safety measures, conduct site audits, and develop training materials. Financial Responsibilities: * Manage procurement, budgets, and project costs. * Submit accurate invoices and applications on time. * Conduct job costings and financial analysis. General: * Hands-on approach with occasional on-site work. * Adapt to evolving business needs as directed by management
