Senior Faade Designer

The role: Support and drive the implementation of the internal Progress Status Sheet for all ongoing projects. Provide guidance and support to CAD Technicians as required. Support the implementation of ISO 9001 standards and annual audits. Produce and design approval drawings in line with project specifications for architects, clients, and contractors. Support the Contracts team by contributing to the project RFI (Request for Information) process. Quantify and order materials required for contractual items to be produced in-house at Topglass. Produce detailed production drawings, job sheets, and cutting lists for our production department. Generate production drawings for external suppliers. Compile comprehensive drawing packages for use on-site during installation. Liaise with other departments to ensure complete understanding of the CAD requirements for each contract. Produce As Built drawing packages for clients upon contract completion. Attend client meetings and maintain communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Occasionally travel off-site for site surveys and to provide support during contract installation as required. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Carry out other duties that are consistent with the job holders knowledge and skills to assist the company in achieving its goals and objectives. The person: Proven experience as a Faade Designer, preferably within the glazing or construction industry. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Demonstrate good computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel. Exhibit excellent communication skills Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Display excellent planning and organisational skills Must be prepared to undertake travel as part of the role.
