Controls / Automation Engineer

Foundry Machinery & Spares Limited (FMS) are looking for an experienced controls / automation engineer to join our team to carry out the following duties: - * Design Control panels using SEE Electrical * Produce Control panel documentation using SEE Electrical * Produce BOM to allow our purchasing department to place orders for the control panel parts (we build our control panels in house) * Write / modify PLC software using mainly Mitsubishi (GX developer) and sometimes Siemens (TIA Portal) to include the design of HMI screens * Testing of control panels and software prior to shipment on the completed machine * Online support to engineers and customers using Ixon remote connection software * On site commissioning where required * Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Foundry Machinery & Spares produce specialised equipment for the foundry industry that is exported worldwide, our entire product range is designed, built and assembled in house from start to finish. We also carry out the on-site installation, commissioning and servicing. Start Date: immediately Duration: Permanent Salary £30,000.00 – £50,000.00 Location WS3 2XQ
