Join a leading depot Nr Swadlincote, working Monday to Friday.  Benefits of the Generator Engineer role: Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience) Overtime available 25 days holiday + bank holidays Specialist training to advance your skills Company pension scheme Additional employee benefits On-site parking and a supportive team environment Key responsibilities as a Generator Engineer: Workshop-based, servicing and repairing generators ranging from 10KVA to 100KVA Conduct testing, inspections, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately Assist with fit-out works for modular buildings, which may include basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety at all times About the company: One of the largest rental companies for modular buildings in the UK Known for its commitment to Health and Safety and employee well-being Provides opportunities for career development and further specialist training Growing company with a dynamic team environment As a Generator Engineer you will: Have a solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems related to generators or heavy plant machinery Hold an NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical or electrical qualification (or equivalent) Hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points) Previous roles you may have worked in include: Generator Engineer, Engineer, Mechanic, Diesel Engineer, Diesel Mechanic, Generator Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Power Generation Engineer, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician. It’s beneficial if you’ve worked on generators such as FG Wilson, SDMO, Stephill, Cummins, Generac, CAT, Atlas Copco, Briggs, Perkins, or Himoinsa.
