Walker and Sloan are working with a well known marketing agency in Oxfordshire, as they are keen to bring on a Senior Software Engineer to the team on a full time basis, with the requirement of coming into the offices twice a week. The role You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining technology for websites (database and application) and Python-driven Tableau applications. You'll play a critical role within the web development teams and be responsible for handling data storage and ensuring content gets delivered. What does the day-to-day look like? To be successful, you will… Understand server-side patterns and languages like PHP (Laravel), Python and React Native. Understand front-end web technologies like Vue2, Vue3, ReactJS, CSS Have the ability to manage a hosting environment, including database administration and scaling applications to handle load changes. Adhere to 'security by design' principles. Know about accessibility and security compliance. Have a solid understanding of GDPR and its role in application development and data storage Have good problem-solving. Be experienced with version control, such as Git.
