RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a leading electrical contractor specialising in commercial and industrial installations across Scotland.
We are currently seeking a skilled Approved Electrician to join our well-established team. This role offers excellent long-term career prospects for the successful candidate. Based in Maybole, you will be required to travel to various client sites across Scotland.
About You
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician with a strong background in commercial and industrial environments.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of cable containment systems, and a deep understanding of current IEE wiring regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about electrical safety and best practices.
The Role
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 8:00am to 3:30pm, with all rates and conditions in line with SJIB Rules and Regulations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an electrician (preferably within commercial/industrial environments).
- Proficient with cable containment systems (trunking, conduit, traywork).
- Up-to-date knowledge of IEE wiring regulations.
- Valid SJIB grade card.
- Clean driving license.
- Testing and inspection experience
Desirable Qualifications
- CompEx certification (for hazardous area work).
