Mechanical Fitter

Manpower Engineering is excited to partner with a leading Research and Development company based in Blyth, to help recruit a Mechanical Fitter for a contract position lasting until Christmas. Key Details: Location: Blyth Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm Industry: Renewable Energy Job Responsibilities: In thos role you will be part of a team building and decommissioning test rigs for the offshore renewable energy sector. Requirements: Qualifications: Apprentice-trained Mechanical Fitter Skills: Mechanical Fitting and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience: Previous work experience in heavy industry Desirable Certifications: Overhead Crane and Slinger/Banksman tickets (preferred but not essential) Additional Information: Accommodation/Travel: Not provided, so this role is suitable for candidates based in the North East.
