Server Build Engineer Permanent opportunity On site in Basingstoke SC cleared role £55,000 - £60,000 The Server Build Engineer will need to be comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment; be happy to engage with fellow SMEs; be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; The role holder will be responsible for the ownership & delivery of the required designs, and documentation for the OS upgrade installed on the platform, cognisant of the underlying security requirements of infrastructure platform and Agile principles. Skills Required: * Develop deployment strategy for multiple Windows Server builds * Design of automated builds * Experience of MECM/SCCM * Design and implement a HyperV infrastructure including automated provisioning of VMs * Experience with VSphere and ESX is useful * Design and implement a Microsoft Certificate Authority Solution * Develop Windows Server firewall configurations * Integration of packaged applications into the server provisioning * Knowledge of CESG guidance, DISA STIGs and implementation of security profiles to meet these requirements * Produce Group Policy Objects and PowerShell scripts to implement the above * Produce High Level design documentation for the above * Produce Low Level design documentation for the above * Produce transition plans * Produce User Documentation Mandatory If you'd like to discuss this role in more detail, please send your updated CV to (url removed) and I will get in touch
