Lead Data Engineer (SC Cleared)

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to take charge of designing and implementing complex data flows across operational systems, analytics, and BI systems. As the lead, you will plan and drive the development of data solutions, ensuring a perfect balance between functional and non-functional requirements. This role also involves monitoring compliance with data standards, including security and governance policies. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of complex data flows to integrate operational systems with analytics and BI systems. Plan and oversee the development of data engineering solutions, ensuring a balance of functional and non-functional requirements. Monitor and ensure the application of data standards , including architecture, security, and compliance requirements. Contribute to organizational policies, standards, and guidelines related to data engineering, ensuring that solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Required Qualifications: Must hold SC clearance . Proven experience leading the development of complex data engineering solutions . Expertise in ensuring compliance with data standards , security, and governance policies. Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan, monitor, and drive data engineering projects. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Location & Work Environment: This role is based in London , with the flexibility of working 2 to 3 days in the office . Contract Terms: Initial contract duration is 6 months , with a possibility of extension depending on project needs.
