Junior Showroom Designer

Job Title: Junior Showroom Designer (Bathrooms) Location: Waterloo, London Hours: 37.5hrs per week We are pleased to be working with a well-established luxury bathroom supplier. Our client has over 85 years’ experience in designing and sourcing the world most innovative, aesthetically pleasing and long-lasting luxury bathroom products. World renowned product designers frequently collaborate with this well-respected business. Main Duties * Design support to the Director of Design on new showrooms * Support to the Merchandising team on showroom rollouts and upgrades, with considered autonomy. * Create accurate AutoCAD 2D plans and elevations * Create mood boards and presentations using PowerPoint * To confidently present ideas and concepts to senior management * Maintain and update showroom GA plans and CAD library * Support with showroom styling, props, visual merchandising and photoshoots at any site as required * Type up project specifications using Excel with guidance from Director of Design & Merchandising Project Co-ordinator * Visit any site company wide as and when required * Attend design trade fairs, exhibitions and suppliers/manufacturers in UK and Europe * Any other reasonable Management request Skills required * Degree in a design-related subject (BA Hons) * Proficient in AutoCAD 2D software essential * Experience with 3D modelling software and Photoshop an advantage * Demonstrated design flair * Experience working in bathrooms or interior design an advantage * Experience in commercial/showroom design and/or visual merchandising an advantage * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential * Excellent organisational skills * Ability to work to deadlines * Positive and enthusiastic approach with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
