Improvement and Reliability Engineer

Bespak are looking for an Improvement and Reliability Engineer for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this permanent onsite role is between £53,000 and £63,000 plus a discretionary annual bonus. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance. Working Pattern Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 4:30pm with an 8:00am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times. In this role, you will be the driving force behind improving the reliability and efficiency of our production systems. You'll analyse equipment performance, troubleshoot failures, and develop maintenance strategies to minimize downtime. Using data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies, you'll identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). By collaborating with maintenance, operations, and quality teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production runs smoothly and effectively. This Improvement and Reliability Engineer position is part of the initial phase of recruitment for an exciting new venture. At Bespak Holmes Chapel, we are investing significantly to expand our capacity to develop and manufacture pMDIs (Asthma Inhalers) with greener propellants to meet evolving sustainability standards in the industry. As an Improvement and Reliability Engineer, your duties will include: Analyse equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot equipment failures. Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE. Manage reliability improvement projects from start to finish. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes. Improvement and Reliability Engineer , beneficial key skills and experience: Qualified in Chemical/Mechanical/Process Engineering, or related field. Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment. Predictive maintenance experience (a plus). Knowledge of CMMS and reliability software. Experience of lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
