EUC3rd LineEngineer
Brakes, a Syscocompany are currently recruiting for an EUC 3rd Line Engineer tojoin the Technology team on a full time, permanent basis, reportingto the Infrastructure and Field SupportManager.
As the EUC 3rd Line Engineer it is yourresponsibility to provide both onsite and remote 3rd line technicalsupport of end user technology throughout Sysco GB. Key todelivering the deployment of new technologies and applicationupgrades throughout the estate. Promoting excellent customerservice, dealing with colleagues in a professional, friendly andhelpful manner.
We are offering a hybrid workingcontract with 3 days per week in the Ashford office. Flexibilitywill be required for travel around the Sysco offices and travelexpenses will be reimbursed. Pleasenote this role requires a driving license and your owntransport.
KeyAccountabilities andResponsibilities:
- Subjectmatter expert for EUC technologies, including MDM, Windows 11 andApple devices.
- Provide both onsite and remote3rd line support for end-users
- Ability toprioritise workload to ensure service levels aremaintained.
- Management and closure of incidentsand service requests via the helpdesk ticketing system, owningthrough to resolution.
- Owner of problemmanagement actions, root cause analysis, known error documentationand associated investigations andresolution.
- Producing high qualitydocumentation for use by 2nd line and 1st line engineers and endusers.
- Ensure that changes are made inaccordance to change management guidelines andpolicies.
- Providing support to projects asrequired to support the deployment of newtechnologies.
Aboutyou:
The successful candidate willhave a good working knowledge of maintaining IT security,infrastructure, and service standards as well as a technicalknowledge of Microsoft product base including client OperatingSystems (Windows 10 and 11) Teams, Office 365 and Azure. You willhave experience of administering MDM platforms such as EndpointManager (Intune) an understanding of networking (Wireless, LAN andWAN). Experience of managing Apple devices including MacOS and IOSis essential. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and becustomer service focused with a keen attention to detail which isessential in maintaining accurate inventory data and documentation.You should have experience of supporting networked printers andproven troubleshooting skills for hardware and application supportas well as active Directory / Azure AD understanding andadministration experience. It is highly advantageous that thesuccessful candidate has an ITIL V3/ V4 foundation certificate andexperience of service deliveryframeworks.
