Commercial Gas Engineer

Are you an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We are working with a renowned nationwide Technical FM provider, known for delivering top-tier services to the built environment who are currently seeking a skilled professional to support their service and maintenance operations across the East Coast of Scotland on a full-time, permanent basis. Engineer’s are given significant autonomy, allowing them to immerse themselves in their work, and they are afforded ample time to complete their tasks. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct routine service and maintenance of gas-fired appliances. * Perform mechanical work, including installation and maintenance of pipework, seals, pumps, and pressurisation units. * Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems across a portfolio of contracted sites. * Execute general facilities maintenance tasks, such as replacing belts and filters, maintaining Air Handling Units (AHU) and Fan Coil Units (FCU), performing PCB changes, conducting water temperature checks, and managing emergency lighting systems. * Participate in the company’s on-call rota, providing full out-of-hours support to our clients as needed. Essential requirements: * Served recognised apprenticeship * ACS Commercial Gas qualified * Highly skilled in all aspects of servicing and repair work * Good problem-solving skills * Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills * Full UK Drivers Licence * Willing to work overtime * Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
