Fire & Security Engineer

Position: Fire & Security Engineer Looking to employ someone within SALISBURY/BOURNEMOUTH/PORTSMOUTH area Outline role guide for employment at Lightning Safety Systems: August 2024 Key responsibilities: -Servicing and maintenance of a wide range of fire alarm systems - to include conventional, addressable, two wire, wireless and aspirated - Servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems - Servicing and maintenance of access control, CCTV & intruder alarm systems - Servicing and maintenance of AOV systems - Fault finding and emergency call out service on the above systems - Conducting remedial work if required on the above systems - Commissioning of the above life safety systems Knowledge & experience: - Understanding and working knowledge of BS5839 and BS5266 - FIA and BAFE modules & accreditations - Working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, eg Asbestos awareness, Manual handling Requirements: - A positive "can do" attitude, be a team player, concentrate on finding solutions rather than worrying about the problem.
