Responsibilities: * Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment. * Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on machinery and mechanical infrastructure. * Assisting with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical systems. * Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. * Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. * Working closely with other engineering teams to ensure smooth operation of facilities. * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Skills and Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a similar role. * Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, and compressors. * Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an engineering environment. * Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders. * Hold or be prepared to work towards achieving Pressure and Confined space AP Status and other Appointments as deemed appropriate The Offer: * Competitive salary of £43,000 per annum. * Opportunities for career progression and personal development. * A supportive and collaborative work environment. * Additional benefits, including pension and overtime opportunities.
