Mechanical Engineer, Kilmarnock, Salary from £31,000 to £33,000 per annum, Health Cash Plan + 25 days + Bank Holidays + Cycle to Work Scheme!

Mechanical Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Kilmarnock, carrying out scheduled maintenance work.

Mechanical Engineer will be skilled in their mechanical trade with a background in the industrial sector or possess Electrical experience. Benefits of joining this company include - Health Cash Plan, Cycle to Work Scheme and 25 days + bank holidays!

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out scheduled maintenance of plant equipment ensuring data records are updated accurately.
• Ensure plant and equipment is maintained.
• Carry out repairs and report cause of breakdown.
• Interpret equipment and plant layout drawings (mechanical and electrical).

Key Requirements:

• Technical expertise in Mechanical or Electrical trades (NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications).
• 18th Edition certificate (would be desirable but not essential).
• Microsoft office knowledge.
