On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Global Anti-Financial Crime Lead (Fintech) to work in their AFC team based in London on a PAYE basis for 30 weeks' initially. Overview: Deutsche Bank benefits from having a highly experienced and dedicated Anti Financial Crime (AFC) function, which performs a crucial role in keeping DB's business operations and global financial services clean from financial crime while serving the interests of the bank and society. Deutsche Banks regional/global matrix structure allows for flexible responses to challenges in the core areas of: Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, Investigations & Intelligence, Monitoring & Screening, and Risk Assessment. You will join the AFC Digital Assets and FinTech team, to advise Deutsche Bank businesses on the best practice and standards for mitigating risks posed by FinTech clients, reflecting the applicable provisions of the German AML Act, the German Banking Act and applicable local laws in each jurisdiction in which the business lines operate. Key responsibilities: Work with global AFC, business and middle office stakeholders to develop globally consistent strategies to address AFC risks; i.e. Corporate Cash Management and FinTech related risks of current activities and future initiatives across DB's businesses Advise onFinTech-related matters involving the businesses including (but not limited to): Prospects, client and/or related parties risk; Potential transactions and/or deals; Emerging risks from new technologies, business/industry trends such as digital currencies, payment systems, etc.; Global regulatory developments Represent AFC on relevant projects and initiatives across DB; e.g. Payments Key Deliverables, Financial Crime Key Deliverables, NFR forums Work with AFC, business and middle office to facilitate communication and drive cross-regional consistency when developing responses to new or changing KYC and AFC-related risks arising from local laws or regulations in each region/country relevant to each business line; Help continue to refine the AFC internal framework around Fintechs such as policy updates, optimised functioning of AFC's Fintech review panel & KYC requirements. Skills and Qualifications: Previous AFC experience within financial services or in related control functions , with a proven track record of delivery Expert understanding of the risks related to FinTechs, merchant services, payment service providers and money service businesses Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of typical banking products and services, including those related to corporate banking Able to demonstrate integrity in all dealings with colleagues, customers, regulators and other professionals; and to drive and promote the company values and ethical framework Flexible and able to adapt to a changing work environmen About the client Deutsche Bank's Values: Our values define the working environment we strive to create - diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
