Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Bowburn Up To £30,000 Key Responsibilities: 1. Support the Service Department in the repair and maintenance of hire fleet and customers' equipment. 2. Ensure a high quality of service and equipment to achieve complete customer satisfaction. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to * Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers' equipment. * Perform fault location, diagnosis, and rectification on hire fleet and customers' equipment. * Prepare equipment for hire and manage installation and disconnection of equipment on site (including synchronizing where appropriate). * Install and commission power to temporary site accommodation (wiring in where appropriate). * Load and unload vehicles as necessary. * Participate in the call-out rota system. * Maintain tidy work areas through general housekeeping. * Complete and submit all company paperwork as per procedure. * Safeguard all Company assets; ensure nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork. * Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of company vehicles or any occasional loan vehicles. * Promote teamwork and co-operation across the Company. * Treat all employees and customers professionally and with respect. * Act in the best interests of the Company. * Follow safe working practices and adhere to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental guidelines (ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001). * Contribute proactively to the company’s continuous improvement policy. * Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.
