The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing exceptional service and innovative solutions. You will troubleshoot and support BAU mainly; Server Management and EUC in a modern workplace environment using Intune, Azure, 365 and much more.

Description
The 2nd/3rd line IT Engineer will:
Provide second/third-line technical support, resolving complex issues and escalating when necessary. Ensure proper documentation of incidents and service requests. Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. Ensure the optimal performance of all IT systems and infrastructure. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT projects. Assist in the creation of operational procedures and policies. Provide training to staff on new technologies and systems. Stay informed about the latest trends in technology and business services.Tech Stack:
Windows Desktop 10 & 11 Microsoft Intune & Defender Microsoft Office 365 Windows Server 2016+, Linux, Virtual appliances, SQL Server. Networking - LAN, vLAN, WAN, Fixed lines, Switches, Routers, IP Telephony, Wireless. Veeam Backup Ubiquiti UniFi Wireless/ Gateways / Networking & CCTV Security - Firewalls, VPN, Azure App Proxy, MFA. Virtualisation - VMware, SAN, Azure, Remote Desktop. Cloud Services - Azure, M365, Email, Office and Third Party Active Directory - Hybrid Azure On Prem Monitoring, Patching and Vulnerability ManagementProfile
A successful 2nd/3rd line IT Engineer should have:
Strong knowledge and experience of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of ITIL processes and methodologies. Driving licence and own transport - essentialTechnical Knowledge Required:
Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and VMWare. Hands-on demonstrable experience with server infrastructure and networking; LAN, vLAN, WAN, VPN's etc. Microsoft Intune & Defender.Job Offer
Salary up to 37,000 per annum 5 days per week on site, Central Swindon Working hours are 7am - 3:30pm / 8:30am - 5pm | 9:30am - 6pm (Shifts vary each week, split between the team) Generous holiday allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.
