Front Office Java Developer - Data Focused Join a leading financial services firm. We're seeking an experienced Front Office Java developer to join their team and contribute to cutting-edge pricing and analytics solutions. About the Role: Develop high-performance, real-time analytics code in core Java. Collaborate with traders, modellers, and engineers to design innovative pricing algorithms. Construct and maintain robust test data for regression testing and back-casting. Provide expert support and troubleshooting for their flagship financial modelling platform. Continuously optimize existing models and algorithms to stay ahead of the curve. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement pricing models within their application development framework. Utilize and contribute to their quantitative libraries. Develop and integrate pricing models across different asset classes. Research and develop innovative solutions to solve new and existing problems. Required Skills and Experience: Proven expertise in Java and C++ programming. A solid understanding of financial markets and quantitative finance, with a focus on fixed income products. Experience in mathematical modelling, numerical methods, and algorithm development. Proficiency in version control (Git) and issue tracking tools (Jira).
