Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

PS Ltd are looking for a CNC Programmer/Setter for the manufacturing company in Sheffield, S9 area (near Meadowhall) This is a permanent position

Pay - £17.25ph (£35,000pa)

Working hours - Monday to Thursday 6am - 4.15pm 4 days working week

Responsibilities:

• Operate Mazak, Mori-sciki CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or mazatrol controls
• Program from engineering drawings to ensure the accurate production of components.
• Perform quality control, tooling, and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or mazatrol controls.
• Conduct regular quality checks for accuracy and precision.
• Maintain and care for machinery, including tooling and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets

Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC Turning with relevant controls.
• Ability to program from engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production need
• CNC programming: 1 year (required)
• Turning and Milling: 1 year (required)
• Mazatrol: 1 year (required)
