HGV Drainage Engineer

We are passionate about working alongside our client’s and partners to maintain the utility services essential to modern life throughout the UK. *About the Role: * You will be driving our gully wagons, working closely with an operative to clean along the highways. This role can be physically demanding as you will be required to cover a lot of ground on foot as well as working in restrictive spaces. Use of a tablet is also a requirement of the role; therefore, you will need to have knowledge of using them. _You will be working on a variety of different contracts, on a reactive workstream - a proactive attitude and enthusiasm is key, and you will be paid to learn!_ Class 2 Driver is essential - along with a can-do attitude; you must also enjoy working outdoors - A CPC licence is also a requirement. *Location: *Andover, Hampshire *Hours: *50 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. *Salary: *£34,450 to £39,000 per hour (depending on experience and tickets) *Responsibilities – but not limited to: * * Investigating any works that need to be conducted. * Assess any issues and put a resolution in place. * Use of Jetting machinery to conduct works to ensure safety of public. *Experience and qualifications required for the role: * * HGV class 2 driving license essential (no more than 6 points) * Excellent listening and communication skills * Team player * Positive, can-do attitude * Competent in IT, accurate data entry * CPC License *What you will get in return: * In joining Sapphire Utility Solutions as part of the Lanes Group - the UK’s largest independent provider, we are committed to fostering a workplace culture that prioritises the well-being, growth, and safety of our employees.
