The Role As an Azure Operations Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in driving cloud infrastructure and operational efficiency. Working alongside a talented team of engineers, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Azure IaaS and PaaS environments, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability for the business. Key Responsibilities : Manage, maintain, and optimize Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions. Drive efficient delivery and optimization of Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) components, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure SQL Database. Implement Cloud-Native strategies to streamline and automate operations, ensuring high availability and resilience. Collaborate with DevOps teams, utilizing Azure DevOps to enhance CI/CD pipelines. Define and maintain infrastructure through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, with a strict focus on BICEP as the IaC tool. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Azure environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Stay ahead of cloud trends and Azure service advancements to incorporate best practices and improvements. Must-Have Skills : Expertise in Azure IaaS (Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage). Proven experience in Azure PaaS (Azure App Service, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL). Strong understanding of Cloud-Native architecture and solutions. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for pipeline automation and deployment. Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with mandatory expertise in BICEP. What’s in it for you?
