Company description:
We are working with an established company who specialise in FMCG & Processing industry. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team and are offering between circa £44,000.
Duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Maintain conveyor systems and all high-speed plant machinery
- Attending to reactive breakdowns
- Get machines back up and running in a timely manner
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Quality checks to understand the reasons for machine breakdowns
Skills and experience required as a Maintenance Technician:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs for machinery
- Performed maintenance on high-speed machinery
- Electrical qualification - NVQ, HNC, ONC, City & Guilds or Apprenticeship trained
