Electrical Technician

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Technician looking for a new career opportunity? Our client, a reputable Chemical Manufacturer based in the Greater Manchester area, is seeking a talented individual to become an essential part of their dynamic team.

Job Details:

• Complete the PM allocation of all electrical programs on site as per company standards, HSE standards, ATEX Standards, COMAH requirement and power and distribution systems.
• Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.
• Able to organise and supervise various contractors as required at the site.
• Investigate and resolve equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce re-occurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure.

Qualifications/Experience:

• HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (essential)
• 17th / 18th Edition
• SAP experience
• 2 years minimum Electrical experience in an ATEX Zone (preferred)
• CompEX (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (desirable)
• Training in MEWP s, mobile scaffold and lifting equipment (desirable)

What s on offer:

• Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 15:00pm and 10:00am - 18:00pm (rotating weekly)
• Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (doe)
