Then look no further… Mechanical Maintenance Technician Salary – £47,842 per annum (plus benefits) Hours – 40 hours per week, shift rota Monday to Sunday 7.00am to 3.30pm Location Postcode – EH22 1SX Acting under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Mechanical Technician provides scheduled maintenance, fault finding, breakdown and inspection activities to the mechanical equipment and systems on site. Our promise to you - Competitive salary - 25 days’ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays - Pension scheme - Life insurance - Discretionary bonus scheme - On the job training and progression - Recognition scheme - Refer a friend - Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership, holiday purchase and many more - Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing Platform What will you be doing? - Troubleshooting and routine, scheduled and major repair and preventative maintenance on all site mechanical, pressure and lifting systems - Assisting in the co-ordination and planning of maintenance activities - Assisting in identifying, developing and delivering maintenance techniques and procedures - Testing and calibrating mechanical systems and field equipment - Managing all work associated with departmental activities on site - Providing close technical support to Operations and other site teams - Supporting outage planning, scheduling, co-ordination, and management What we’re looking for - Comprehensive experience in the preventative maintenance and defect repair / interrogation on process related mechanical equipment - Full understanding of P&IDs and mechanical drawings and the ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and isometric diagrams - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3 in a Mechanical Engineering discipline (qualifications below this level may be acceptable if accompanied by suitable experience) About Us We are FCC Environment, one of the nation’s leading waste and resource management companies.
