Mane Infrastructure are on the look for a Electrical Stores Person to work as part of a team for our client who are leading M&E Engineering contractors who are carrying out major electrical installations and fit out within a existing highways tunnelling project located in the Cornwall area (PL5).
Duties will involve organisation and logistics of materials and tools for the project. This will include motioning stock levels, using an assets system called "Censite" - full training to be provided.
Applicants will be required to work out of a warehouse and partly deliver materials to the site stores located at Saltash Tunnel. (Approx. 10 min drive).
Please note that successful applicants will be provided with a company vans. Therefore applicants MUST hold a full clean UK Driving License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking deliveries during the day
- Keeping the stores organised and tidy
- Look after plant & tools; incl.
- Managing Weekly PUWER Schedule for the project
- Managing Weekly LOLER Schedule - plan any LOLER inspections required for owned lifting equipment
- Weekly Inspection & reporting of Harnesses
- Inspection /recording of Confined Space equipment
- Maintaining records for equipment calibration
- Sorting materials that will be required for the night work
- Manage stock levels and advise project team on quantities for replenishing
- We use an asset system called 'Censite' (full training will be provided.
- Loading the flatbed truck and taking it to the site stores down at the tunnel
- Assisting with offloading
Must Have:
- Full cleaning UK manual driving licence (to drive VVB vehicle they must be a minimum age of 21, also must carry out FORS assessment by VBB)
- Warehouse experience
- Understanding of electrical installation materials
- Available to work weekends (x1.5 uplift)
- May need to work later if required (usual OT rates)
Working Hours: TBC
Please note that we will require someone to work a standard day shifts.
Approx. 07:30am - 17:30pm.
Please note that there may be a requirement for a back shift.
Hours TBC (enhanced rates would be in place for back or night shifts)
