Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
Duties
- To lead the maintenance team towards a full TPM, with a proactive, preventative mind-set rather than corrective.
- Ensure maintenance operations are safely conducted and in-line with HASAWA 1974.
- Communicate with production planning to ensure equipment PM is achieved on time.
- Plan and follow corrective actions.
- Development of safety measures to guarantee full safety during maintenance operations.
- Ensures repairs are performed in a "right first time" mind-set and followed through until completion.
- Leads major technical maintenance operations such as toggle replacements, pump repairs, hydraulic seal replacements.
- Communicates directly with equipment suppliers to ensure a fast response to breakdowns.
- Leads in- house electrical installation, including testing and certification.
- To cover Site Electrical Duty Holder responsibilities.
Skills
- Experience of injection moulding experience.
- BS7671 18th edition City and Guilds 2382 qualification
-City and Guilds 2391, 2395 or equivalent in electrical inspection and testing
- Fully conversant with BS7671, EAWR89, HASAWA 1974.
- Multiskilled in Electrics, Hydraulics and Mechanics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Electrics, Hydraulics and Mechanics.
- Experience of working with a CMMS system.
- Fully confident with reading and interpreting technical drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical).
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Good time management and organisation skills.

Pay : £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
