Role Overview We are seeking a Senior AI Developer to drive the development, support, and enhancement of our leading modelling solutions for the financial sector. This role involves leading R&D efforts in financial modelling tools. You will work with our Product Director to conduct AI workshops internally to understand what tools and products could be supercharged through AI/ML. We need someone with a background in software development as you will have extreme autonomy and ownership in this role. Meaning once you have sign off to build, you would spin up the POC & work with the Dev teams to implement. Key Requirements AI/ML Expertise: 5+ years in AI development, particularly with machine learning and generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT) Cloud Platforms: Skilled in AWS for AI/ML model deployment and management Programming: Proficient in Python, Java, and other relevant languages Data Management: Experience with large-scale data processing and RDBMS (e.g., MySQL) Agile Methodologies: Comfortable with agile practices, including Scrum and XP Project Management: Experience managing Jira boards and ensuring code quality Collaboration: Ability to work with business and product stakeholders to meet requirements Desirable Skills AI Tools: Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn Data Engineering: Knowledge of Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka Model Deployment: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and MLflow Testing: Knowledge of AI testing frameworks and methodologies Frontend Technologies: Experience with React and TypeScript Financial Services: Experience in the financial services industry is a plus Qualifications While a degree in a computing-related field is common among our developers, we value experience and talent above all.
