The company in question are an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer with over 40 years of experience in manufacturing critical subsea components. CNC Machinist (Permanent Nights):
- Full time/permanent contract
- £18.14 £20.40 per hour
- Potential on target earnings with overtime is £61,941.88. This is calculated from the base rate and the standard overtime requirements
- Night shift 4 x 12-hour shifts (paid break)

Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a time served CNC Machinist to join our client based in Teesside. THE ROLE
- Operate CNC machines with expertise in turning and/or milling operations.
- Perform programming and setup of CNC machines to manufacture products that meet precise quality standards and specifications.
- Apply knowledge of tolerances, geometric tolerances, and surface finishes to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs, and ring gauges for precise measurement and quality control.
- Work with a variety of materials including non-ferrous metals, aluminium, alloy steel, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
- Demonstrate flexibility by accommodating overtime work to meet customer demands.
- Continuously seek opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge in other machining processes.
- Mentor and train colleagues, sharing your expertise and contributing to team development.
THE PERSON
- Time served Machinist
- Understanding Continuous Improvement principles
- CNC Turner with Fanuc setting/programming experience
- Millers with Heidenhain setting/programming experience
