Role Description Defining and carrying out engineering tasks within your span of responsibility for you and any subordinate staff under your controlAgreeing your work plan with your line manager and applying the most efficient engineering methods availableEnsuring the technical content of your work and also that of subordinate staff, including deliverables are acceptableEnsuring effective interactions with your team, customers, and others, to promote the best interests of the team, department and companyProviding efficiency and effectiveness suggestions for the development of Weights Engineering toolsets and processes within the discipline capability development frameworkSkills and QualificationsComprehensive knowledge of aircraft structure and systems Weights Engineering processes and methods, including early lifecycle weight, centre of gravity and inertia property assessment, and the management of weight targetsDegree/HND/HNC in a STEM subject or equivalent professional qualifications in terms of formal educationRelevant experience working within a Weights Engineering, Structural Engineering or Airframe related disciplinePrevious experience of managing staff would be advantageousCompany InformationAs a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
