ARE YOU A PROCESS ENGINEER, A PROJECT ENGINEER, PRODUCTION ENGINEER OR A MANUFACTURING ENGINEER FROM A HEAVY MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT? DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE OF IMPROVING PRODUCTION PROCESSES AND STREAMLINING OPERATIONS?
This is a brand new role with a high level of responsibility within a world class manufacturing environment. You will have autonomy within your position and have the scope to make improvements on site.
The role would suit process engineers, production engineers, project engineers or manufacturing engineers from a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment. Engineers will ideally have experience of running multiple projects simultaneously. Engineers will be educated to degree level or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a chemical discipline.
Reporting directly into the Production Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining engineering processes on site. The team on site have identified key areas for improvement and you will project manage these projects to optimize production/resources, make cost savings and reduce waste. The role is a mixture of hands on engineering as well as data analysis, cost planning and office based work. You will conduct process reviews and advice upon/ lead with further adjustments. You will work closely with the on site maintenance and engineering team. You will champion H&S on site at all times.

Process Engineer
Lead and execute continuous improvement process control projects on site
Responsible for enhancing productivity, reducing waste, making cost savings and optimizing resources
Data analysis to report on trends, uncover inefficiencies and develop a process improvement plan
Running multiple projects simultaneously

Process Engineer
Can have experience as a project, manufacturing, process or production engineer
Will ideally transfer from a heavy manufacturing or engineering background
Must have a degree or equivalent in mechanical or chemical engineering
Must be happy to work in an environment where there is a mixture of hands on and office based work.
