Due the nature of the role and the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve UK SC clearance
We are looking for a Lead Mission Systems Engineer to join us at an exciting time where, you can be involved with delivering the Assessment Phase of the Future Combat Air System programme.
Day to Day you'll be -
- Lead and support team meetings / DSUMs / Agile reviews
- Interface with resource planners and owners, establishing tasking and interface routes
- Manage / help / direct less experienced Systems Engineers, e.g. an apprentice
- Manage the creation of Engineering documents that form part of the Systems Engineering process
- Provide technical expertise, supporting and / or leading in the following activities for Mission Systems as part of a multi-functional engineering team:
Requirements management, Design, Testing, Safety, Cyber Security, Qualification and certification
Skills we are looking for -
- Systems engineering and engineering lifecycle experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab)
- Experience of developing mission systems and associated domain knowledge
It would be beneficial if you had -
- Experience of leading and managing Engineering teams
