Essential Skills and Background:

• Proficiency in using automated testing tools such as TestCafe, Mocha, Cypress, WebDriver, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in developing with Node.js or other high-level programming languages.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or equivalent build automation systems.
• Skilled in version control practices using systems like GIT.
• Hands-on experience with tools for testing RESTful APIs, such as Postman.
• Previous experience working in an agile development setting and familiarity with project management tools like JIRA.

Desirable:

• Prior experience working with TestCafe and Mocha is highly valued.
• Background in integrating SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to manage and manipulate databases, particularly MySQL.
• Holding a foundational ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
