INFORM3 RECRUITMENT Civil Engineer Job Location: UK - Midlands Sector: Civil INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Civil Engineer who would be interested in the experience of seeing a project through to finish and fit out. They are currently busy working on numerous service station upgrades in midlands. The client is a Building & Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. The contractor is able to offer the candidate the opportunity to work on multi-million sites and progress within the company. Accommodation and flights can be provided for right candidate (2 week rotation) Civil Engineer Responsibilities: Liaise with the Project and Contracts Manager Be familiar with the Project Plan, ensuring site specifications and designs are checked regularly Complete daily setting out and surveying duties Supervise and mentor site staff Ensure work is completed safely and reaching deadlines Attend Site Meetings Carry out Toolbox talks and Health & Safety briefings Liaise with Site Management and sub-contractors Assist in coordinating Plant, Machinery and Materials Ensure Waste is safely and appropriately disposed off Adhere to Health & Safety regulations Ensure all staff have received site inductions Civil Engineer Specification: Civil Engineering Degree 1 plus years experience in a similar position Strong experience in Setting Out Excellent communication Able to work within a team and motivate staff Excellent numeracy skills Eager to progress Willingness to travel Confident in MS Office Full driving licence The client understands the value of quality staff, ensuring that they have put in place professional working practices and in return are looking for candidates that are self-motivated and who can deliver quality work.
