What's in it for you: Salary of £46,000 - £52,000 Life assurance Shift Premium Enhanced Pension contribution Above statutory holiday allowance Healthcare plan Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and high performance. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Implement preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reliability. Manage and coordinate electrical projects, from concept to completion, including upgrades, new installations, and process improvements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Ensure all electrical systems and processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for complex electrical issues. Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in electrical engineering within the FMCG sector. Work closely with other departments, including production, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operation and alignment with overall business goals. Assist with developing and managing the electrical engineering budget, including capital expenditures, maintenance costs, and staffing. Qualifications: Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering in FMCG or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and control systems used in FMCG environments. Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with PLC's, variable speed drives and fault finding Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team and collaborate with other departments. Experience with SCADA would be desirable but not essential Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
