I’m looking for an experienced EC&I Design Engineer to join the Facility Design Authority (FDA) team on a contract until February 2026. In this key role, you will ensure that utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment, and facilities are compliant with legislation, standards, and requirements throughout the facility lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide designs for multi-discipline groups throughout the lifecycle of assets.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of legislation and standards, particularly within nuclear and high-hazard facilities.
  • Maintain high personal standards in safety, security, health, and quality.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant legislation, standards, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer, Design Authorities, and Technical Authorities within the company management system.


Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of legislation and standards relevant to engineering design.
  • Experience working within multi-discipline teams and producing designs across an asset’s lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of legislation and standards associated with nuclear and high-hazard facilities.
  • Strong team player with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
