Field Service Engineer

A global leading material handling business has a new opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the team. You will ideally have worked an agricultural, construction plant or HGV technician background. Candidates will be based in the Colchester/Ipswich area. They offer an impressive salary and benefits package with an OTE £50k to £55k in your first year, plus bonuses and door to door payment. As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for: Complete all service, repair, warranty, and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a high-quality standard Build strong rapport and relationships with customers, through professional behaviour and a customer-focused mindset Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation's products and service Comply with all Legal and company standards, such as the code of conduct and H&S practices. To be successful in this Field Service Engineer role you will have: Experienced Field Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, Construction Plant or FLT will all be considered Qualified to Level 2 preferably apprentice trained Experienced multi-skilled engineering experience with heavy plant equipment and working with Hydraulic Systems Able to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams Fault find and diagnostics of CANBUS Systems, as well as electrical fault finding Good IT literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
